About us
The firm's name derives from a glorious unspoilt local sandy beach, which has as a backdrop, a panoramic mountain view, ranging from Sutherland toTorridon, including several Munros and Corbetts.
Sea Eagles are frequently spotted in the are, along with black-throated divers, otters, seals and basking sharks.
One of the proprietors, Elizabeth George, is a former employee of Slioch Outdoor Equipment, which was formerly based in Poolewe for over 20 years.
All Firemore garments are handmade by us, using top quality fabrics. The designs we use have been tried and extensively tested by outdoor experts.
All our garments are available in standard sizes, but many of our customers will wish to take advantage of our free made-to-measure service.
